What is the Festival Foods Annual Turkey Trot?

The Turkey Trot is a fantastic way to burn calories with friends and family before you devour pumpkin pie on Thanksgiving Day. Details and links below are for the 2019 Festival Foods 12th Annual Turkey Trot event, check back for updated information each year!

This energizing and fun event offers a 5 mile run and a 2 mile run/walk, held on Thursday, November 28th, 2019, starting at 8:00 am at Johnsonville Tailgate Village. All participants receive long sleeve t-shirt and a personal size “Upper Crust” pie, with proceeds benefiting The Boys & Girls Club and the Y.

Don't leave your furry friend at home! There will also be a Dog Jog, a separate group for just dogs and their humans, and will start at approximately 8:15 am.

Whether you walk, run or volunteer it is a great event for your entire family! Early bird registration ends Thursday, October 31st and the registration fee goes up November 1st.

Want to be a part of the event but don’t feel like walking or running? VOLUNTEER! We need help November 27th from 1:30 - 6:00 pm handing out t-shirts and on Thanksgiving Day distributing t-shirts, stocking the food/beverage table, handing out pies or helping at the water station on the course. Volunteers will receive a free Festival Foods Turkey Trot shirt.

The Turkey Trot is held on Thanksgiving Day in Appleton, Coulee Region Eau Claire, Fond Du Lac, Green Bay, Janesville, Madison, Manitowoc, Marshfield and Oshkosh!
