Amy Reineking, Senior Program Director
Hello everyone! I’m so excited that you have decided to spend your summer with us at KIDS Camp. My name is Amy and I am the Senior Program Director for the West Side Y. This June I will be celebrating 7 years with the Green Bay Y and 11 years working at Y Day Camps. When it’s not camp season I run the Youth, Teen & Family programs for the West Side and oversee the Aquatics Department. I love spending time with my family and friends, going “up north”, biking, and running. I’m looking forward to a sunny, no rain summer with lots of songs and laughing. Please let us know if there is anything that we can do to make this summer a great experience for you and your camper!

Gina Elmer, Lead Counselor
My name is Gina Elmer and I am from Stillwater, Minnesota. I came to Green Bay to go to school and also to participate on the Nordic Ski Team at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. I just graduated in May and received my teaching certification for ages 6-12/13. In the summers I have always been at camp, either as a camper or a counselor. The past three summers I worked at YMCA Camp St. Croix in Hudson, WI. Now, I have traveled to the other side of the state and fell in love with the community here. I wanted to keep the love of camp alive and am thrilled to be a part of the KIDS Camp family. In my free time I love to enjoy the outdoors! I like to fish, camp, ski (in the winter), bike and in the summer I compete in various triathlons. This summer I am super excited to be at a new camp! I can't wait to learn new games, activities and songs...maybe I can even share some new things with you!!!

Maria Fonferek, Teen Leadership Counselor
Hello! My name is Maria Fonferek and this is my fifth summer at Kids Camp. I graduated from St. Norbert College in May of 2009 with a Bachelor in Music and I am currently employed at St. John the Baptist School, Holy Cross School and Prince of Peace School teaching general music and band.
I am thoroughly excited for another summer full of fun as I return to camp. This is such a wonderful experience for the children attending this summer program and an incredibly experience for us staff as well. I look forward to working with your children this summer!

Hi! My name is Danny; this is my third year at KIDS Camp. I am going to be a senior at UW-Madison, majoring in Political Science. On my free time I enjoy sitting outside, reading up on Packers football, hanging out with friends and family, and playing sports like volleyball and basketball. This summer I am looking forward to watching the Packers practice, the warm weather, pool parties, and having a great time at KIDS Camp, which of course includes singing some camp songs!

Heather Sticka, Counselor
Hey everyone! My name is Heather Sticka and I am all ready for my second summer at KIDS Camp! Though originally from Green Bay, I attend UW- La Crosse where I am majoring in Recreation Management with a minor in Spanish. When I am not at camp, I enjoy being outside, riding my bike, reading and having fun! I am also trying to teach myself how to play the harmonica so maybe if you’re lucky, I'll play you a tune at camp. This summer, I am so excited to go ice skating, to the NEW Zoo and meet you!!

Hi everyone, I’m Ben and this is my second summer at KIDS Camp. I attend UW-Stevens Point where I am majoring in Math. In my free time I play Lacrosse, hunt, and fish. I am looking forward to the field trips this summer and playing my favorite camp game of Ga Ga.

Hi! My Name is Jordan. I am a junior at the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire. My major is Elementary Education and I have a minor in Spanish. Although this is my first year at the Green Bay KIDS Camp, I have worked at the Eau Claire Y with the School Age Child Care program for a year and absolutely love it! I am so excited to work at KIDS Camp this summer! I am also looking forward to spending time with my family and friends, spending time up at my cottage outside and hopefully doing some traveling on the weekends! In my free time I love to be with my friends and family, watch the packers (Go Pack Go!), read, run, and shop. I can’t wait to get to know you all!

Hello I’m Brittany V and I am studying Business Administration with an emphasis in Human Resources at UW-Green Bay. During the school year I work at the YMCA's 21C Sullivan site, and I love it! For fun I like to spend time with my family and friends, exercise, read and bake. This summer I am looking forward to meeting a lot of new people and doing things I have never done before.

Hi everyone, I’m Brittaney. I attend the University of Wisconsin Green Bay where I am majoring in Elementary Education. This school year I have been working in the YMCA 21-C program at Sullivan Elementary School. In my free time I like to play volleyball and basketball and walk the trails around Green Bay. I am looking forward to meeting new people and having fun in the sun at KIDS Camp this summer!

Hey! My name is Kejel Van Elzen; I graduated from Ashwaubenon High School and am currently attending the University of Wisconsin La Crosse to become a History Teacher. Growing up I went to many of the YMCA programs including Camp Kermit, Camp Wabansi, and Camp U-Nah-Li-Ya. In my free time, I love to dance, rollerblade, hang out with friends, and love being out in the sun! I am looking forward to having a great summer with the Y KIDS Camp Program and meeting all the new campers!
