Ninja Warrior (ages 9-18)
Challenge yourself each week with a different class focus. Run a timed obstacle course, learn tricking and flips, and refine your power and movement skills. Develop confidence and physical fitness through a program that supports and encourages personal growth. An extension of our Ninja Warrior Jr. class with more intensity for older participants.
Ninja Jr. (ages 5-8)
We focus on developing motor skills through mobility, balance, power, strength, and endurance. We want to create a strong mind and body through fitness in a fun and safe manner. By learning new obstacles, we help athletes develop a positive mindset towards themselves and others. Setting and achieving goals will help boost self-confidence and self-worth.
Beginner Skateboarding Camp (ages 6-14)
The Beginner Skateboarding Camp is a great way for your young one to help break out of their shell! It builds confidence by functioning through fear and teaching them not only the basics of skateboarding, but what they are really capable of (which is a lot!). All safety and skateboarding equipment is provided. This program is in partnership with our friends from GBASO.
On my Own at Home (ages 10-12)
Participants will learn how to stay busy and safe when at home alone, how to check for safety & dangers at home, how to handle emergency situations, simple skills for first aid, and how to make small snacks that are safe to eat.
Art-tastic Jr. (ages 6-8)
Your child will explore their creative side in this two day mini art session. They will work with several art mediums such as paint and clay to create masterpieces as they discover their own personal style. The activities are geared towards our younger friends and led by our fun Y staff.
Craft Club (ages 8-12)
Get creative with Craft Club! We will explore new hobbies such as jewelry-making, pottery, and cooking. We'll use skills like problem solving, creativity, and imagination along the way!
Ninja Camp - 1 Day (ages 5-13)
Our Ninja Warrior obstacle course training will challenge you to become stronger, more confident, and increase your body control. Bring a swimsuit, towel, and bag lunch for this fun, all day camp!
Dance VIEW DANCE DATES & TIMES »
Child with Adult Rhythm & Movement (ages 2-3)
Get ready to boogie! Partner with your child in a variety of fun, exciting dances as you spend quality time dancing to the beat. Parent participation is one-on-one with your child.
Ballet, Tap & Jazz Dance (ages 3-4 or 5-6)
Introduction to the art of dance focusing on the basics of ballet, tap, and jazz. Develop and enhance gross motor skills, listening skills, and positive peer interaction. Classes include fun and easy dance steps that change each session. Music and props are used to build coordination and self-esteem. The final class is an informal observation day. Tap shoes and ballet slippers required.

Hip Hop Dance (ages 6-8 or 9-12)
High energy dance classes with current music your child can relate to. Youth dance classes foster confidence, teamwork, and healthy exercise. Hip hop class will learn fun and funky routines with individual instruction. Utilizes basic hip hop moves that are age-appropriate.
Poms Dance (ages 6-8 or 9-12)
High energy dance classes with current music your child can relate to. Youth dance classes foster confidence, teamwork, and healthy exercise. Poms class will work on dance routines as a group, utilizing all dancers for visual effect. Poms are provided.
Ballerina Princess Party (ages 3-6)
A wonderful experience for your 3-6 year old to interact with like-minded princesses. Dress up as a beautiful princess, dance spin, and twirl during this fun dance party. Craft included.
Trolls Dance Party (ages 3-6)
Can't stop the feelin' to get up and dance? A fun event for kids who love Trolls and moving to the beat.
Gymnastics VIEW GYMNASTICS DATES & TIMES »
Stage A (ages 1-2)
Explore the beginnings of gymnastics as a child with adult duo. This program is great for toddlers working on muscle coordination and confidence. Spotting techniques will also be introduced.
Stage B (ages 3-4)
Increase skills in strength, flexibility, coordination, and self-confidence while they tumble, swing, and have fun. Participants will be introduced to the basics of all four gymnastics events: vault, bars, beam, and floor.
Stage C (ages 4-5)
Continue to develop skills as more time is spent working on technique, strength, and confidence. Achieve mastery of skills like cartwheels, front support and casting, and walking on beam.
Stage D (ages 6-13)
Gain confidence and strength by learning basic gymnastics skills in this introductory gymnastics class. No prior experience necessary. Participants will learn independence and practice skills on floor, beam, bars, and vault.
Stage E (ages 5-13)
Prerequisite: Beginner Gymnastics (Stage C or D) skills passed.
Build confidence while utilizing all of the equipment in the gymnastics center to enhance skill level. The following intermediate level skills are the focus while working on form and technique:
- Floor: bridge kickover, handstand holds, round off
- Bars: casting, pullover, backhip circle
- Beam: handstands, turns, jumps
- Vault: jump to 3/4 handstand, strong hurdle and jump
Stage F (ages 5-13)
Prerequisite: Intermediate Gymnastics (Stage E) skills passed.
A class that will build confidence by utilizing all of the equipment in the gymnastics center to enhance skill level. The following advanced level skills are the focus while working on form and technique:
- Floor: backbend kickover, handstand forward roll, round off
- Bars: pullover, back hip circle, kip, squat on dismount
- Beam: side handstand dismount, connected jumps, turns
- Vault: hurdle with arm circle, handstand flat back
Teen (ages 11-17)
A perfect fit for the teen who wants to learn new skills or improve existing ones. This program will provide individualized goals and instruction to help you get to the competitive level, spruce up cheer tumbling, or just have fun.
Youth Camp - 1, 3, or 5 Day (ages 5-13)
No school? No problem! Tumble, bounce, and swim the day away in Gymnastics Camp. A fun-filled day for anyone who loves to be upside down. Craft and snack included. Bring sack lunch, swim suit, and towel.

Intro to Tennis (grades K-2)
Red ball classes are the perfect opportunity for children to learn the fundamentals of tennis. Activities focus on building agility, balance, and coordination skills (ABCs), while also developing on-court skills such as forehand and backhand ground strokes, appropriate grip, and tennis-specific footwork patterns. Red ball players will eventually advance to the orange ball with an improved understanding of how to play the game and will be prepared to make the transition to the larger court size. Red balls have 25% bounce height of a regular ball and are played on a 36' court.

Orange ball tennis classes are designed to continue building skills while learning or refining the techniques necessary to serve, volley and score. Children will continue to develop ground strokes, volleys and serves, work on footwork, and begin learning strategy. Orange balls have a 50% bounce height of a regular ball and are played on a 60' court.

Fundamental Basketball (ages 5-6 or 7-9)
A 45-minute class where your child will learn the fundamentals of the sport of basketball covering the basics of positions and roles, passing, and shooting & rebounding in a non-competitive environment. Modified scrimmages will be introduced in this session.
Fundamental Soccer (ages 4-5)
A 45-minute class where we teach the basic skills on a smaller field with fewer players while developing values of good sportsmanship, teamwork, and self esteem. We will incorporate scrimmages to put their skills into action during the session.
Fundamental Football (ages 5-6)
A program that offers the fundamental skills of Flag Football in a 7-on-7 format. Your child will learn positions & roles, receiving, throwing and running while building confidence, showing good sportsmanship and teamwork. Fundamental Sports runs 45 minutes.
Fundamental Volleyball (ages 6-8 or 9-12)
Emphasis is on teaching the values of good sportsmanship, teamwork, goal setting and skill development in a fun, esteem-promoting atmosphere. Children will have the opportunity to build skills by learning the basic volleyball fundamentals such as overhand serving, setting, hitting, and digging in a non-competitive environment.
Fundamental T-Ball (ages 4-6)
Fundamental T-Ball is a 45-minute sports class where your child will learn the basics of baseball/softball such as catching, throwing, positions, and batting. This program uses soft core balls and will bat off the tee.
Recreational Coach Pitch Baseball (ages 7-10)
Coach Pitch is a 45-minute sports class where your child will continue to develop fundamental skills while playing in a more competitve setting. They will learn the values of good sportsmanship, team work, skill development, self esteem, and confidence in a fun atmosphere.
Recreational Soccer (ages 6-8)
We continue to work on fundamental skills and apply these skills in a game where score will be introduced but not emphasized. Recreational Sports work on developmental skills with more advanced curriculum in a league format. Week 1 is a team practice. Weeks 2-7 begin with a 30-minute practice followed by a 45-minute game.
Recreational Basketball (grades 1-2 or 3-4)

During games, we will introduce support reffing and score as a part of the game without putting too much emphasis upon competition.
Swim Lessons VIEW SWIM LESSONS DATES & TIMES »
Child with Adult Swim Lessons (ages 6 months-2 years)
Accompanied by an adult, infants and toddlers learn to be comfortable in the water and develop swim readiness skills through fun and confidence-building experiences, while parents learn about water safety, drowning prevention, and the importance of supervision. A parent or family member from the same household, at least 16 years old, is required to be in the water with the child; 1 adult maximum.

Youth Stages 1-3 Swim Lessons (ages 6-13)
Students develop comfort with underwater exploration, safe ways to enter and exit the water, body position and control, movement through the water, and will be introduced to combining skills.
Youth Stages 4-6 Swim Lessons (ages 6-13)
Students will focus on all developing all major strokes in a class designed to increase stamina, and fluency in the water. Students will learn about competitive swimming and how to continue to utilize swimming as a part of a healthy lifestyle. Must have completed Stages 1-3.
Pre-Team (ages 5-15)
Pre-Team Development is an introductory class to GBY Competitive Swimming. The four competitive strokes are refined as well as other competitive swimming fundamentals such as starts and turns. Swimmer must be able to swim multiple lengths (25 yards) of the front crawl (freestyle) with rotary breathing. Must have successfully completed Youth Stage 5.
