24/7 ACCESS – DO WHAT YOU LOVE, ON YOUR SCHEDULE
For more than 150 years, responding to community needs has always been a core value for the Greater Green Bay YMCA. And, the commitment to responding to those community needs continues with a new membership offering – 24/7 access at our East Side and West Side locations!
We know you are constantly on the go, and we responded with a membership add-on made just for you! Open to adult members, ages 19+, of the Greater Green Bay YMCA, 24/7 access allows existing members to do what they love, on their own schedule at our East Side (beginning November 14) and West Side (beginning November 1) locations. This convenient NEW membership add-on allows 24-hours per day, 7-days a week, year-round access to the cardio, strength, and stretching areas, the free weight area, gym and indoor track in the newly renovated wellness centers. Locker rooms and showers will not be accessible during after-hours. Please note, there will be no staff available to help members outside of the Y’s regular hours.
“The Greater Green Bay YMCA is a shining example of always listening too, and responding too the ever-changing need of our community. By offering this new membership add-on (24/7 Access) members no longer have to rearrange their schedules or plan exercise at a certain part of the day. The YMCA is available any time they need it,” said Michelle Gillespie, YMCA Membership and Program Manager. "In addition, this membership upgrade is available FREE to first responders in our community, including police, EMT’s and firefighters. We must continue to adapt to the needs of the community.”
APPLY FOR 24/7 ACCESS
Members are welcome to apply for 24/7 Wellness Center access at the Member Services desk of any of the Greater Green Bay YMCA locations. To apply for access, members must sign a 24/7 access waiver and agree to abide by YMCA policies, pass a background check, and upgrade for $10/month. An additional family member (age 19+) may be added for $5 per member/month. Typically the approval process takes 1-3 business days. Once approved, the Greater Green Bay YMCA will contact the member and a key fob will be issued. The key fob will give members 24/7 access to both our East (beginning November 14) and West Side (beginning November 1) locations.
First responders, including police officers, EMT’s, and firefighters may join the 24/7 program for FREE on top of their regular YMCA membership.
OUR #1 PRIORITY IS SAFETY
Providing a safe, secure environment for members is essential to the Y’s cause of strengthening the community. The Greater Green Bay YMCA 24/7 Wellness Centers are protected by advanced security and video surveillance systems. However, these systems will not provide staffing assistance for emergencies that might arise outside of the Y’s regular hours. As such, the YMCA highly recommends that members exercise with another 24/7 member when using the facility outside of staffed hours. In addition, First Aid Kits and AED’s are located at the front desk. In case of emergency, please call 911 by using the emergency phone located at the front desk.
