NOW HIRING staff for the School Aged Child Care (SACC) Program and the 21C Program! If you or someone you know is passionate about working with children in the community - we have the place for you! Thanks to grant dollars that support staffing efforts for essential non-profit afterschool programs, new employees can earn up to $500 through our new "Hire & Stay" incentive!
New School Age Child Care (SACC) and new 21C employees will receive $250 at their 3-month employment mark and another $250 at their 6-month employment mark.
Employee must work a minimum of 2 days/week for SACC/21C. Employee is to have satisfactory attendance, performance, and have no coaching/counseling incidents during incentive time.
SACC EMPLOYEE REQUIREMENTS:
SACC employees must be a minimum of 18 years of age, work positively with children, attend 1 monthly evening paid training, be CPR certified (training provided), undergo fingerprinting check, and complete a 15-hour paid childcare workbook training if experience/education does not satisfy childcare requirement.
21C EMPLOYEE REQUIREMENTS:
21C Afterschool staff must be a minimum of 18 years of age and have demonstrated experience working with children, leading programs and fostering social emotional wellness in Kindergarten through 5th grade students. The 21C programs are held in elementary schools that traditionally serve children who may live in poverty, who could have adverse childhood experiences or trauma, and who may need additional educational supports to close the academic achievement gap. Experience working with underserved or “at-promise” children is helpful to be successful in this role.
