AREA OF SPECIALTY:
I enjoy fast paced workouts that keep clients on their toes. Circuits and HIIT are my favorite!
I started my fitness career working in group fitness at a bootcamp-style fitness center. Short, 30-minute workouts but they definitely were not easy!
Functional exercise is great for anyone and everyone. Using exercises the way you would move in everyday life is important to me. I also love communication. I provide regular check-ins with clients and have them check back in with me. Even if it is something small, I want my clients to know I am there to help them no matter what.
MY PASSION FOR FITNESS COMES FROM:
After having two children within two years, I had some extra weight that I wanted to get rid of. I decided that to better myself and be happier and healthier, I needed to get active. Once I got into the habit of exercise, it became a part of me!
MY PROUDEST MOMENT WITH A CLIENT:
I was coaching a client to do pushups on her toes. She did not think she could do one. She got up on her toes and did a full push up. She was so excited! The next time through the circuit, she was able to push through a few more pushups on her toes. She thanked me, but honestly, she was able to push herself and hit that goal! I was happy to be there to encourage and be her cheerleader!
MY FAVORITE EXERCISE/TRAINING TOOL:
There are so many! Body weight, dumbbells, resistance bands, BOSU ball for stability. The list goes on and on!
MY FAVORITE QUOTE OR MOTIVATIONAL SAYING:
“In two weeks, you’ll feel it. In four weeks, you’ll see it. In eight weeks, you’ll hear it. Keep going!”
FUN FACT ABOUT ME:
I am severely allergic to chocolate!
