Craig Congdon, EAST SIDE
Certified Personal Trainer – NETA | Certified Triathlon Coach – USATriathlon
AREA OF SPECIALTY:
Endurance training and programming (triathlon, running, biking, swimming, etc.), functional strength training, and motivation to stay on track with your health and fitness.
Since starting with the Y, I have been involved with over 10,000 appointments talking about health, fitness, and just about anything related to setting goals and how to get there. I have taught thousands of Group Fitness classes through the Greater Green Bay YMCA, and have been active in sports for 35+ years.
Clearly understand someone’s background, goals and limiters, then customize to fit the individual. A one size fits all model does not work. Every exercise and workout has a specific intent. Business background, business approach. If a program is put together that is mutually agreed upon, it is my expectation it will be followed. Being consistent. Being inconsistent will yield inconsistency. Work hard and sweat when appropriate. Rest, recovery and days off help the body and mind reset. Working hard all the time does not work over the long run. Over the long run, it is not possible to exercise away a poor nutritional plan. You have a goal? Let’s chat.
MY PASSION FOR FITNESS COMES FROM:
My innate sense to help others and share knowledge. I have been a trainer, coach, and/or mentor for more than
MY PROUDEST MOMENT WITH A CLIENT:
Not one specific, but seeing people finish a goal he/she felt was not possible. Having members implement what they have learned into routine that betters their life.
MY FAVORITE EXERCISE/TRAINING TOOL:
The floor. It can be used anywhere, anytime. It can even be utilized while on vacation.
MY FAVORITE QUOTE OR MOTIVATIONAL SAYING:
“Be consistent over time, not for a period of time.” – Coach Craig
