Danielle Duquaine, EAST SIDE
WITS Certified Personal Trainer and Holistic Health Coach through Institute for Integrative Nutrition
AREA OF SPECIALTY:
Strength training, core conditioning, functional movement and interval training
Small group training and individual strength training are my favorites. I have also taught group classes in Kickboxing, Tabata, Core and Strength, as well as given informational talks on nutrition.
Adaptable. Everyone starts at a different fitness level, so I love to tailor workouts to each individual’s needs. I bring a positive and motivational energy so it is engaging, fun and educational. I love to show individuals what they are truly capable of given the right tools and mind set. I also feel that a healthy diet is so important, so I enjoy teaching about nutrition as well.
MY PASSION FOR FITNESS COMES FROM:
A past relationship forced me into my passion for fitness; it opened the door for me to see all the different avenues physical fitness really has to offer.
MY PROUDEST MOMENT WITH A CLIENT:
Pulling someone out of a depressive state after weight gain, divorce, and a job change. They made healthy changes to their diet, worked hard to lose all the weight (50+ pounds!), and regained their confidence.
MY FAVORITE EXERCISE/TRAINING TOOL:
Free weights and machines.
MY FAVORITE QUOTE OR MOTIVATIONAL SAYING:
“Will it matter 5 years from now?” When it comes to health… “YES!” Start now to make a stronger and better you. Your body was not programmed for disease. Set yourself up to fight and be strong for whatever may come your way. When it comes to the small things, don’t stress. Those are the things you can let go of; but pay attention to what will be a POSITIVE addition to your future self, family and lifestyle.
I love to travel, read, exercise and spend time with family and friends.
FUN FACT ABOUT ME:
I have 3 daughters, 3 cats and 1 rabbit. I have a huge sweet tooth, and I am afraid to fly!
