AREA OF SPECIALTY:
Strength training, functional movement, flexibility, and interval training.
I have been working in the fitness industry since 2011. I’ve worked in several different positions from customer service representative, group exercise instructor, weight room attendant, and weight room supervisor. I felt that all of these positions were rewarding because I was able to assist fitness enthusiasts in various ways. Once I graduated from college, I knew that I wanted to help individuals reach their goals and better themselves through exercise. I became a certified personal trainer in 2015 and have been training ever since. I can truly say that I love what I do.
I was taught at a very young age that if you work hard and stay determined, that you can accomplish anything. I believe this is true for everyone. If you have a goal in mind, keep working towards it even if it might seem impossible at first. As long as you put in the effort, stay motivated, and have the proper support system, you can accomplish anything.
MY PASSION FOR FITNESS COMES FROM:
I’ve had a passion for health and fitness since my first year of college. I loved being able to see the changes in myself and being able to push myself a little hard each time I step into the gym. I still love doing this now, but I also like being able to inspire others to reach their fitness goals.
MY PROUDEST MOMENT WITH A CLIENT:
When my client told me she could finally stop using the elevator and go up the stairs without any pain in her knees. She had many problems with her knees due to being a marathon runner for 30 years. We did functional movements and band exercises to help correct her knee pain.
MY FAVORITE QUOTE OR MOTIVATIONAL SAYING:
“What seems impossible today will one day become your warm-up.” - Anonymous
