AREA OF SPECIALTY:
TRX suspension trainer and rip trainer, kettlebells, working with beginners, youth, seniors, and individuals with special needs.
Certified Personal Trainer since 2011 and a trainer for small group training workouts. I have taught kettlebell and TRX classes for over 5 years, and have led senior and youth classes.
I like to keep it simple, staying away from the latest fads and fancy gadgets and concentrating on basic functional movements. My goal with clients is to show them how easy and fun any workout can be by modifying the exercise to the client’s fitness level regardless of age, size, or perceived barriers.
MY PASSION FOR FITNESS COMES FROM:
Seeing successes in meeting my personal fitness goals, I have the passion and desire to educate and motivate people to help them reach their fitness goals. I see as I have gotten older the added challenges to getting fit and staying fit. I have a burning desire to help individuals tackle those challenges and live the best possible life possible.
MY PROUDEST MOMENT WITH A CLIENT:
Feeling pride whenever a client or person in one of my classes or small group trainings shares a success story whether it be weight loss, reaching a running goal, or any achievement they feel resulted from their training with me.
MY FAVORITE EXERCISE/TRAINING TOOL:
Basic bodyweight movements; TRX Suspension Trainer and TRX Rip Trainer and Kettlebells are my favorite pieces of equipment to supplement bodyweight movements. New favorites of mine which I use in my specialty trainings are battle ropes and slam balls.
