AREA OF SPECIALTY:
I love working with a variety of clients and fitness levels. I like to incorporate functional movements, strength training and interval training.
I’ve always been involved in sports, including: volleyball, softball, golf, track and field, and dance. I’ve also been a part of the YMCA since childhood, so I was always surrounded by a wellness community. After graduating college in 2012, I earned my Personal Training Certification and have been training ever since. I also have experience in Group Exercise, since 2007, and Corporate Wellness.
I truly believe that if you set a goal and believe in yourself anything is possible. I will provide guidance, patience, motivation and support to help you achieve your goals.
MY PASSION FOR FITNESS COMES FROM:
I’ve always been involved in sports throughout my life and enjoyed being active. It wasn’t until college, when I gained weight and needed to change my lifestyle, that I found my true passion for fitness. I started my own fitness journey and fell in love. I’ve always had a passion for helping others so I am fortunate to share my passion for fitness with others to help them achieve their goals.
MY PROUDEST MOMENT WITH A CLIENT:
I love seeing my clients achieve their goals. It’s so rewarding to see clients make positive changes and continue a healthy lifestyle. A particular situation that sticks out in my mind was when I had a client that was very inactive and never stepped foot in the gym, we worked together for a year. She achieved her goal weight and is now extremely comfortable in the gym, she attends group exercises classes and enjoys biking and running on her own, she has even motivated her family to live a healthier lifestyle.
MY FAVORITE QUOTE OR MOTIVATIONAL SAYING:
“Transformation is not a future event, it’s a present activity.” – Jillian Michaels
