Lindsay Wisnicky, EAST SIDE
Exercise Sport Science & Nutrition – UW – La Crosse | Certified Personal Trainer - ACE
AREA OF SPECIALTY:
Corrective exercises, lifestyle changes, HIIT circuits, and geriatric populations
My Exercise Sport Science and Nutrition degree and experience in the wellness and physical therapy exercises.
I believe regardless of an individual’s starting point, they have the ability to reach optimal health if they are given the proper education, tools, and motivation, along with the willingness to make lifestyle changes. My outgoing, positive, and encouraging personality will help my clients reach their full potential and make their health goals become a reality.
MY PASSION FOR FITNESS COMES FROM:
I started running half marathons and continued to get injured through training, so I used physical therapy input along with personal corrective exercises to diminish my injuries and prevent further injuries from occurring. I hope to use the education and skills I’ve accumulated from personal experience and school to help others reach their optimal health potential.
MY PROUDEST MOMENT WITH A CLIENT:
When I see clients expressing increased self-confidence and lifestyle changes in and outside the Y from implementing the exercises and health advice I gave them.
MY FAVORITE EXERCISE/TRAINING TOOL:
Education. If I am able to teach my clients how, they will be able to attain their wellness goals throughout their life.
MY FAVORITE QUOTE OR MOTIVATIONAL SAYING:
“Many small changes over time will create a large effect.”
HOBBIES / SPECIAL INTERESTS:
Cooking healthy food, weightlifting, biking, hiking, etc. – pretty much all things health or outdoors! Above all, I adore spending time with my family and friends.
FUN FACT ABOUT ME:
I was in a very tragic bicycle accident from a free-range chicken getting stuck in my front tire.
