Girls Night Out
Girls Night Out | Fun & Friends . . . With a Focus
Girls Night Out is a 7-week Y program designed just for 5th grade girls. We welcome any 5th grader from the community to experience this program. Girls Night Out is led by our Y staff and college-aged female volunteers and is held at all 4 of our YMCA centers. Each week, our girls will have a theme to explore, social time, healthy snack and an exciting physical activity.
They will explore topics like healthy choices, transition, life skills, and positive peer relationships. Each night there will be time to hang out with friends and do a physical activity like Zumba, swimming, self-defense, yoga and so much more! We will celebrate the end of our program with an optional overnight trip to YMCA Camp U-Nah-Li-Ya.
This program is designed for all 5th grade youth, regardless of gender identity or expression.
Girls Night Out Activities
Girls Night Out is held at all four centers. Parent/Guardians will receive an information sheet with weekly topics and what to expect on the first night of the program.
