welcome
yd team

At the Greater Green Bay YMCA, we believe in empowering young people to become the best versions of themselves, providing them with professional, organizational, and life skills, and creating opportunities for learning and growth. Today, we're excited to introduce our dynamic team of dedicated individuals who are driving the mission of our Youth Outreach Department. These passionate professionals are committed to making a difference in the lives of our community's youth.

Jack Conroy - Director of Youth Outreach

Jack Conroy, our Director of Youth Outreach, joined our team this year, bringing with him a wealth of experience in various roles at the YMCA since 2015. With a background that includes working as a staff member and director at Eisenhower and Sullivan Elementary 21st Century After School Programs, serving as the Director of Environmental Education at YMCA Camp U Nah Li Ya, and leading the Learning Academy at the East Side YMCA during the pandemic in 2020, Jack is well-prepared to drive our Youth Outreach initiatives. Jack's mission is to help young people find purpose in their lives and equip them with the skills they need to be their best selves.

Kayla Rearden - Youth Specialist

Kayla Rearden has recently embarked on her journey at the YMCA as a Youth Specialist. With three years of experience working with youth and a fresh Master's in Social Work from UW Milwaukee, Kayla is eager to make a positive impact. Her passions lie in community-based work, program development, and, most importantly, working with youth. Kayla's goal is to empower young individuals, teach them new skills, and provide opportunities for learning and growth. When she's not working, she enjoys spending quality time with her partner and two feline friends, Toby and Nala, as well as reading, crafting, and traveling.

Loren Prince - Youth Specialist

Loren Prince has been an integral part of the Greater Green Bay YMCA for a decade, contributing to various roles in childcare, youth development, and program management. His most recent position was as the director for the Doty Elementary After School Program, where he worked closely with teachers and staff to build relationships and foster respect for student and family needs. Currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Social Work with the aim of working as a School Social Worker, Loren's vision is that our community and the YMCA are all better when we work together. In his free time, Loren enjoys camping with his family, indulging in reading, playing video games, and following the exploits of Taylor Swift.

Bringing Their Expertise to Youth Outreach

Jack, Loren, and Kayla have recently transitioned to their new roles within our Youth Outreach Department, and they've already begun making a significant impact. Jack is spearheading our Y Achievers Program and other Youth Outreach initiatives, while Loren is focusing on Youth In Government classes and providing support for additional programs. Kayla, with her background in social work, is actively engaged in meeting the youth in our community and learning all about The Y Movement, with a specific emphasis on supporting the Y Achievers Program.

We are excited to have this passionate team on board at the Greater Green Bay YMCA. They bring their expertise, energy, and commitment to our mission of shaping the future for young people in our community. Stay tuned for more updates on the incredible work they'll be doing to make a positive difference in the lives of our youth. Together, we can inspire and empower the next generation.
