The West Side YMCA is more than a building, it’s the heartbeat of our community. It’s where kids gain confidence, families find belonging, and neighbors come together to grow stronger. Since 1996, it has been a place where lives are changed, connections are made, and futures are built.

Now, our community is growing, and the YMCA must grow with it.

The West Side YMCA is the busiest in Green Bay, and continued growth means we must expand to keep pace with the families and individuals we serve.

High Facility Usage

High usage means shared and crowded spaces, limiting flexibility and comfort for members, families, and program participants.

We envision a West Side YMCA where every child feels safe, every family feels welcome, and every individual has space to grow stronger, inside and out.

The Bold Vision. Bright Future. campaign is a $9.4 million commitment to expand access, increase impact, and ensure the YMCA remains a place where all are welcome.

This expansion will allow us to serve more kids, support more families, and provide the spaces our community needs to learn, connect, and thrive, now and into the future.

The YMCA has recently invested $2 million in critical parking improvements, demonstrating our commitment to this future.

Naming recognition is for the lifespan of the space, or until another major renovation is done. Naming recognition for the facility does not expire, unless the Y were to move locations.
