YMCA Camp Wabansi Anniversary Party

Calling all past, current, and future campers, camp families, counselors, and friends of the Greater Green Bay YMCA Camp Program!

After officially facilitating childhood memories for 75 years, we want to celebrate Camp Wabansi’s anniversary before it wraps up its 76th! To celebrate, we’d like to invite you and your family to come reminisce, enjoy some of what camp has to offer, and see the impact Camp Wabansi has made on countless lives since 1949.

From 11:30am to 1:00pm we will offer kayaking, archery, and team building activities.

From 1:00pm to 2:30pm we will offer swimming and organized field games such as kickball, dodgeball, and eagle’s nest (capture the flag).

Activities that will be available all day include basketball, carpet ball, gaga ball, 9-square, playing on the playground, and hanging out on the beach.

For lunch, guests can purchase food from the food truck vendors we will have on site:

J Dogz from 11:00am-1:00pm

Thibby’s Ice Cream from 1:30pm-3:00pm

Our camp store will be open all day to purchase Camp Wabansi merchandise (including special edition 75th anniversary items!).

The main room of the Jim Auman Activity Center (JAAC) will display pictures from all throughout the years, information on the history of our camp, a commemoratory piece to sign, and a table full of raffle items. We will also be holding a 50/50 raffle, winner drawn towards the end of the event.

    Slapshot Summer Smash

    Kick off summer at the YMCA with a free afternoon of fun featuring Hometown Hockey Star and Bayport High School alumni, Quinn Finley! Meet Quinn, take photos, get a signed trading card, and ask him questions about his journey to college hockey. Each child will receive a special giveaway, and the event will include indoor and outdoor games like puck shooting, relays, soccer ball shooting, cornhole, and more!

    2025 Kids Triathlon at the West Side YMCA

    Get ready for an exciting morning of swim, bike, and run at the West Side YMCA’s Kids Triathlon on Saturday, June 28, 2025! This fun and supportive event is designed for kids of all fitness levels. Children will receive a race bib to decorate and wear during the race, and every finisher will go home with a medal and a t-shirt. (Please note: t-shirts are guaranteed only for registrations received before June 1.)

    The Kids Triathlon features two age divisions:
    Mighty Mites (Ages 6 & Under): 20-yard swim (3’2″ deep, flotation devices allowed), 0.5-mile bike ride, 1/4-mile run.
    Junior (Ages 12 & Under): 50-yard swim (5’6″ deep, flotation devices allowed), 1.5-mile bike ride, 0.5-mile run.

    The course is designed with safety in mind and is subject to change based on weather or conditions. All proceeds from this event support the Y’s Annual Campaign, helping more kids and families access life-changing programs at the Y.
