Child Watch

As of June 15, 2020, our Child Watch service is free to Y members. The child must be a Y member (household, youth, or adult + child) to use Child Watch.

Healthy Environment

• As in the past, if your child is demonstrating any signs of cold, flu or COVID-19 symptoms please keep them home until they are symptom-free for at least 72 hours without the use of medication.
• If a child begins showing any symptoms that are consistent with cold, flu, or COVID-19, the child will be isolated from the rest of the group and the parent/guardian will be contacted to pick the child up from Child Watch.

Reservations & Group Size

• Child Watch is based on a first come, first serve basis.
• Reservations are required ONLY for infants ages 6 weeks until stable walking. There will be 4 reservation slots available per hour for infants, with up to two hours per day in Child Watch. To make your infants reservation, please visit our schedules page, download our app, or call your YMCA branch.

Check In and Check Out

• The check-in process will be “touchless” with staff using the reservation roster and electronic check-in and check-out of children in Child Watch.
