Group Exercise Classes
At Greater Green Bay YMCA, we offer hundreds of group exercise classes each week at each of our four centers. Try them all and pick your favorites from classes types such as cardio, yoga, Zumba, strength & conditioning, water exercise, and ForeverWell for seniors.
Classes open on a limited basis at all open YMCAs, with new policies designed to protect member safety. Not comfortable coming in? No problem! Our Virtual Y platform hosts on-demand and livestream classes!
ForeverWell
Our ForeverWell programs are designed for men and women in their 50s and older. We encourage everyone to grow in the areas of physical, emotional, social, and spiritual well-being. Our ForeverWell exercise classes promote fitness and well-being while fostering friendships and camaraderie.
COVID-19 Regulations
To keep members socially distanced in group fitness classes, we have implemented several safety measures:
Create Space
Each member is provided a space of at least 10 feet wide and 6 feet front/back
Floor Markers
Markers on the floor to designate the center of their space
Stagger People
Each row is staggered to provide maximum distance between people
Clean Equipment
Staff clean and set up equipment in the room prior to the workout
More Supplies
Additional cleaning supplies are available if members would like to re-clean their equipment
Leave Equipment
Members leave their equipment in place after the workout
Post Clean Up
After the workout, staff cleans the equipment using a fogger
Buffer Times
Additional time between classes allows for proper cleaning and sanitization
