NEW to the Y, the Accelerate program focuses on creating sustainable lifestyle changes to support your individualized health goals. Accelerate includes weekly group education and discussion sessions in addition to small group training or group exercise classes. In a supportive, small group setting, you'll explore the many aspects of life that might impact your overall wellbeing.
Foundations for Healthy Families
Spend time as a family with our Foundations for Healthy Families program. This interactive program is designed to support development of healthy lifestyle habits through healthy eating, movement, mental wellness, and social connection.
LIVESTRONG at the YMCA
The Y and LIVESTRONG joined together to create LIVESTRONG at the YMCA, a physical activity and well-being program designed to help adult cancer survivors achieve their holistic health goals. The free, 12-week program meets twice a week for 60-90 minutes, using traditional exercise methods to ease you back into fitness and help you maintain a healthy weight.
Stay Strong is a free opportunity for LIVESTRONG at the YMCA alumni to continue their wellness journey with the friends they have made, and offers a chance to meet and share their stories of inspiration with other survivors. Stay Strong focuses on building strength, endurance, and friendships.
Walk with Ease
The Arthritis Foundation Walk with Ease Program is a 6 week exercise program that can reduce pain and improve overall health. If you can be on your feet for 10 minutes without increased pain, you can have success with Walk with Ease.
