At the Y, we are committed to strengthening community by connecting all people to their potential, purpose and each other. We partner to offer research-based programs that tackle one's health with proven results.
Improving the health and wellbeing for all, is at our core. The Health Specialty Programs we offer at the Greater Green bay YMCA are offered either free to the community, free to members, or reduced fees for members and community members alike.
YMCA KICKSTART
The YMCA KickStart program offers a comprehensive and interactive approach to health improvement within a small, supportive community.
BRAIN & BODY FITNESS
In partnership with the ADRC of Brown County, Brain & Body Fitness is designed to support those diagnosed with early onset dementia or dementia-like symptoms.
BLOOD PRESSURE SELF-MONITORING PROGRAM
The Blood Pressure Self-Monitoring Program helps participants reduce and manage their blood pressure and increase awareness of triggers that elevate blood pressure.
EXERCISNG WITH PARKINSON'S
The Y now offers Exercising with Parkinson’s, a customized exercise program for those with Parkinson’s.
LiveSTRONG® AT THE YMCA
LiveSTRONG® at the YMCA is a physical activity and well-being program designed to help adult cancer survivors achieve their holistic health goals. Using traditional exercise methods to ease you back into fitness and help you maintain a healthy weight.
STAY STRONG
Stay Strong is a free opportunity for LiveSTRONG® at the YMCA alumni to continue their wellness journey with the friends they have made, and focuses on building strength, endurance, and friendships.
WALK WITH EASE
The Arthritis Foundation Walk with Ease Program is a 6 week exercise program that can reduce pain and improve overall health. If you can be on your feet for 10 minutes without increased pain, you can have success with Walk with Ease.
