This beginner class offers an introduction to the sport of fishing. Ignite the passion for the outdoors with this class. Students will learn the ins and outs of basic fishing. Some skills will include baiting a hook, casting a line as well as identifying different types of popular fish. Ages 8-12.

Murph Memorial Day WorkoutJoin us at the West Side YMCA for the Murph Workout, a powerful tribute to U.S. Navy SEAL Lt. Michael P. Murphy. This workout invites participants of all levels to push themselves while remembering the courage and sacrifice of those who have served.
The Murph includes a one mile run, 100 pull ups, 200 push ups, 300 air squats, followed by another one mile run. Modifications will be available, so everyone can take part in a way that fits their ability.
Your entry fee is $25, with all proceeds supporting the YMCA Annual Campaign and helping ensure programs remain accessible to all in our community.

Adulting 101 – Money Edition • Financial Education SeriesAdulting 101 – Money Edition is a virtual financial education session designed for teens and their parents. The class focuses on practical, real-world money management skills that young people need as they prepare for independence, while also empowering parents to act as supportive financial coaches at home. Key topics include what ‘adulting’ means financially, real-world costs, budgeting basics, intro to credit and common money mistakes.
