Unleash your inner inventor at Makers Mania! Dive into an evening overflowing with making, building, crafting, designing, and experimenting. From duct-tape engineering to cardboard construction challenges, this night is all about BIG imagination and even BIGGER creations!

Participants will rotate through maker stations, design their own take-home project, test out their ideas in team building challenges, enjoy open swim, and fuel up with a delicious pizza dinner before tackling the Maker Mega-Challenge at the end of the night.

    Mystery Night at the Y

    The Y needs detectives-and fast! Kids will become real-life detectives, racing through clue stations, decoding secret messages, interviewing suspects, and piecing together evidence to crack the case. They’ll work in teams to uncover the truth, solve puzzles, complete challenges, and ultimately reveal who did it!

    The night ends with swimming, a pizza dinner, and awards for the best detective teams. It’s mystery, teamwork, giggles, and adventure-all wrapped into one unforgettable YMCA night!

    Healthy Kids Day®

    As we celebrate the YMCA’s 175 years of strengthening communities, we’re kicking off another summer of fun, learning and growth at Healthy Kids Day!

    Healthy Kids Day is a national initiative celebrated at Ys across the country to help inspire healthy habits in kids, families and the community. For over 30 years, Ys have celebrated Healthy Kids Day by hosting a variety of free, community-facing events and activities focused on active play, nutrition education, STEM and the arts, and so much more.

    Healthy Kids Day will take place April 18, 2026 at our East Side YMCA. Free event, no registration required.
