Empowering Lives with Parkinson’s Through Exercise

At the Green Bay YMCA, our Exercising with Parkinson’s program offers personalized workouts designed to enhance mobility and strength. Each class includes resistance training, the use of specially-designed treadmills, and evidence-based techniques tailored to individual needs. Led by expert physical therapists, this program supports participants in managing symptoms and improving quality of life.

Led by Experts

Our East Side program is co-led by trained YMCA staff and Bellin College Physical Therapy students and faculty, ensuring a comprehensive, personalized approach to fitness. Our West Side program is led by trained YMCA staff. These sessions focus on improving strength, balance, and mobility while addressing individual needs and capabilities. Participants benefit from tailored exercises that enhance overall well-being and quality of life. Join us to experience a supportive environment where every movement matters.

Class Information

East Side YMCA

  • Tuesdays & Thursdays from 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM
  • Co-led by trained YMCA staff and Bellin College Physical Therapy students and faculty

West Side YMCA

  • Mondays & Wednesdays from 7:30 AM – 9:00 AM
  • Led by trained YMCA staff

Cost:

  • $49/month for Y members
  • $108/month for general public

Spouses and caretakers have free weekly access to the Y during program times.
