TEEN ADVENTURE PROGRAM (TAP)
The Teen Adventure Program (TAP) is a unique all day summer program for youth ages 11-14. It operates Monday-Friday from 7:00 am – 6:00 pm and exists to help families find age-appropriate activities for their middle school child. Teens will enjoy theme weeks, adventure activities, career exploration, special events, games, volunteering, and more. The program runs throughout the summer and youth are able to register and attend as many weeks as they would like!
TEEN LEADERSHIP PROGRAM
Spend a week learning leadership skills and techniques as a Junior Counselor (JC). During your week as a JC, you will have the opportunity to work side-by-side with our counselors. Your journey in the JC program will include how to lead a group of campers, teach arts & crafts and games, and how to work in a group with your fellow JCs.
Y NIGHT
Y Nights are a time for 4th-6th graders to hang out with friends and make lots of new ones! This year, Y Night will be held weekly on Friday nights at our Broadview, East Side, and West Side locations. During Y Night, youth can swim, play games like basketball or GaGa, and participate in exciting theme activities each week. Youth will have an opportunity to connect with friends and participate in themed activities each week.

This program educates youth in wellness and fitness, establishes a lifestyle of fitness at a young age, and encourages parents and kids (ages 11-13) to work out together. The course encompasses the mission and core values of the YMCA, the benefits and risks of exercise, and the policies and etiquette of the Wellness Center.
Participants will learn how to use the cardiovascular equipment and the strength training machines. This program is free to Y members and can be scheduled at the front desk.
For kids 8-10 years old, check out our Family Wellness Orientation.

This approach not only enhances physical fitness but also promotes mental acuity and self-discipline.
Martial Arts for Everyone
We welcome participants aged 7 and above to join our Martial Arts program. Whether you're a child or an adult, martial arts can offer numerous benefits, including improved physical fitness, mental strength, and a strong sense of self-confidence.
Focus on Character Development
One of the core principles of martial arts is the development of character. At the Green Bay YMCA, we emphasize the importance of self-confidence and respect in our classes. Participants will not only learn physical techniques but will also gain valuable life skills, including:
1. Self-Confidence: As you progress in martial arts, you'll develop a strong sense of self-assurance. This newfound confidence can positively impact various aspects of your life, from school and work to personal relationships.
2. Respect: Respect for oneself and others is a fundamental aspect of martial arts. Our instructors teach students the importance of treating others with kindness and respect, both inside and outside the dojo.
Enroll today and embark on a path to self-improvement, fitness, and personal growth through the art of martial arts. We look forward to welcoming you to our dojo and helping you unleash your full potential. Martial arts is more than just a physical activity; it's a way of life, and it all starts at the Green Bay YMCA.
