The spirit of the Y can be found in the hearts of our volunteers who make a difference for the people of our community by providing their help beyond the walls of the YMCA.
Rudy (pictured, far right) has worked at the YMCA for the past 4 years in our 21C Program and now the Y Learning Academy; however, his impact on youth in our community extends further than with the Y.
“The Y has inspired me to give my treasure, time, and talent to our Green Bay Community. Currently, I am serving our Hispanic Catholic Youth Community, providing biweekly gatherings, and responding to our youth's spiritual, emotional, physical, and financial needs. Guerreros De Dios Ministries is blessed to be supported and welcomed by the Green Bay YMCA. I am beyond grateful for the influence the Y and my faith community have had on me and in return I am helping youth discover their purpose in life.”
